Breitling Celebrates 140th Anniversary with Global Traveling Exhibition

To mark the 140th anniversary of Breitling’s founding, a traveling exhibition showcasing historical timepieces from the Breitling archives in Switzerland will be held at 60 boutiques worldwide. In Japan, this exclusive heritage collection will be displayed for a limited time at boutiques in Omotesando and Osaka.

Breitling Heritage Exhibition: A Journey Through Time

In June 2024, the exhibition will make its stop in Japan, offering visitors a rare glimpse into Breitling’s rich history and innovation. The exhibition will feature specially curated displays under themes such as “Evolution of the Chronograph,” “Conquering the Skies,” “The Pinnacle of Watchmaking Technology,” “The Beginning Masterpiece,” and “The First Smartwatch.” These themes highlight Breitling’s contributions to watchmaking and its ongoing legacy. The exhibition will run from June 15th (Saturday) to June 25th (Tuesday) at Boutique Omotesando, and from June 27th (Thursday) to July 7th (Sunday) at Boutique Osaka.

Special Seminar by Masamasa Hirota

To commemorate this special occasion, Masamasa Hirota, editor-in-chief of Chronos Japan, will host a seminar exploring Breitling’s history and significance in the world of chronographs. His insights will delve into the brand’s evolution, value, and unique appeal.
