Vacheron Constantin Introduces Intense Green Dials to Overseas Collection
Vacheron Constantin has added an intense green hue to the dials and interchangeable straps of four new Overseas models, all in pink gold. This is a first for the collection, which celebrates the spirit of travel. The new green color is featured on the dials of the 35 mm gemset, 41 mm date, 42.5 mm chronograph, and 41 mm dual time models. Each of these timepieces is water-resistant to 150 meters and equipped with a top-quality self-winding calibre that boasts meticulous finishing, including an oscillating weight engraved with the collection’s emblematic compass rose. The pink gold bracelet with a folding clasp is easily adjustable and can be replaced with a calfskin leather or green rubber strap, each featuring an interchangeable pin buckle.
New Dial Color
The introduction of an intense green color to the dials of four pink gold models enhances the adventurous spirit of the Overseas collection. This new hue breaks away from the traditional black, silver, pinkish beige, and blue of previous Overseas watches. The combination of deep green and pink gold brings a fresh aesthetic to Vacheron Constantin’s sporty-chic timepieces.
To enhance the intensity of this new color, meticulous attention has been paid to the finishing touches. The translucent lacquered backdrop plays with depth effects, featuring sunburst satin-brushing at the center and a delicately velvet-finished flange. The gold hour-markers and hands, highlighted with Super-LumiNova®, ensure legibility against the dark dial. A lighter-shaded double minutes track (or a single one on the gemset model) allows for accurate reading of minutes and seconds. The integrated rose gold bracelets with polished and vertical satin-brushed links evoke the shape of a Maltese cross, matching harmoniously with the dials and circular satin-finished bezel.
Chic Yet Sporty
The new green dials cover various models in the Overseas collection, including the 35 mm gemset, the 41 mm self-winding model with date display, the 42.5 mm chronograph, and the 41 mm dual time iteration. These models maintain the collection’s sporty essence with open sapphire crystal casebacks and water resistance up to 150 meters, achieved through a screw-down crown. A soft-iron casing ring provides anti-magnetic protection for the movements. These timepieces feature various calibres with High Watchmaking finishes, all self-winding with an 18K pink gold oscillating weight adorned with the collection’s emblematic compass rose. Robust and sturdy, the movements beat at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offer a comfortable power reserve.
One Watch, Three Faces
Versatility is a hallmark of Overseas watches, and the new models uphold this tradition with interchangeable bracelet/straps. Each model comes with an integrated pink gold bracelet featuring a triple-blade quick-release folding clasp. This system allows the bracelet to stretch up to 4 mm larger by adjusting the last one or two links connected to the clasp. The bracelet can be swapped tool-free for a calfskin or rubber strap, both matching the green dial and featuring a pin buckle that is also interchangeable without tools.
These new green Overseas models embody Vacheron Constantin’s blend of elegance and functionality, offering a fresh and versatile addition to the collection.
