H. Moser & Cie. Unveils the Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Blue Enamel

In a striking new release, H. Moser & Cie. introduces the Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Blue Enamel, presenting the ultimate in watch complications within a timeless, water-resistant case—a feature rarely seen in minute repeaters. This model brings the minute repeater to the forefront, showcasing the intricate mechanism that strikes the hours, quarters, and minutes on the dial itself. The synchronized dance of the hammers and gongs is complemented by the elegant movement of the one-minute flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position.

The Aqua Blue dial, free from logos and indices, serves as an exquisite stage for this horological ballet. Crafted from “Grand Feu” enamel on a hammered-texture base, it offers a sensory experience and an ode to beauty, transforming the passage of time into a melodious spectacle both on land and underwater.

H. Moser & Cie.’s latest creation marries tradition with innovation by placing the minute repeater mechanism on the dial side, a decision that involved surmounting significant technical challenges. The gongs, positioned on a single level to maintain the watch’s ergonomic integrity, are carefully curved to avoid interference with the flying tourbillon. This meticulous design reflects the balanced proportions, fluid shapes, and refined finishes characteristic of the Streamliner line. The integrated steel bracelet gracefully arcs to fit the wrist, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

The cushion-shaped steel case has been expertly engineered to optimize sound quality, achieving a perfect balance of volume, resonance, and harmony. By widening the case middle to its maximum, the design accommodates the movement and allows space to create a soundbox, amplifying the chiming of hours, quarter-hours, and minutes. The case’s 5 ATM water resistance means the melodic chimes can be enjoyed even underwater.

At the 6 o’clock position, the one-minute flying tourbillon floats behind a skeletonized bridge, set against the stunning “Grand Feu” enamel dial. This dial, created from finely crushed pigments applied to a gold base, requires about an hour of meticulous work by a master enameller to achieve its unique ombré effect. Each dial undergoes twelve firings in the furnace to create the signature H. Moser & Cie. fumé effect, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, intensely hued Aqua Blue finish.

The watch’s three-dimensional hands, formed in two sections with Globolight® inserts containing Super-LumiNova®, enhance its readability and design. Powering this masterpiece is the hand-wound HMC 905 calibre, a new movement with a 90-hour power reserve. The movement features an anthracite grey finish and skeletonized parts, revealing the intricate mechanism within.

H. Moser & Cie. has once again redefined Haute Horlogerie with the Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Blue Enamel, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elegance in a truly unique timepiece.
