Breitling has unveiled the latest addition to its Professional range with the Endurance Pro, a versatile watch that marries the brand’s technical prowess with its lifestyle appeal. Positioned as an ideal choice for rigorous workouts and vibrant fashion statements, the Endurance Pro is now available in a universal 38 mm size, alongside the original 44 mm model, with five colorful options.
To celebrate this launch, Breitling has welcomed two new members to its Triathlon Squad: reigning IRONMAN® Women’s World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay and Sam Laidlow, the youngest male winner in IRONMAN history. They join multi-title-holding triathletes Jan Frodeno and Daniela Ryf, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to creating timepieces that meet the demands of elite athletes.
“This is a watch that was built to swim, bike, run, and keep up with you no matter the intensity of your workout—plus, it looks great as a casual sports chronograph,” says Breitling CEO Georges Kern. “This new size makes it accessible to an even wider range of wearers.”
The Endurance Pro features an ultralightweight case and a comfortable rubber strap, designed to appeal to both serious athletes and casual sports enthusiasts. Made from Breitlight®, a material three times lighter than titanium and nearly six times lighter than stainless steel, the watch is nonmagnetic, thermally stable, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion.
The new 38 mm Endurance Pro models come with straps and crowns matching the inner bezel rings in five hues: purple, pink, white, light blue, and red. Meanwhile, the 44 mm Endurance Pro has been updated with a new streamlined rubber strap in navy, orange, white, and light blue. Both sizes feature hands and oversized numerals coated with Super‑LumiNova® for easy readability in low light.
Like all watches in Breitling’s Professional range, the Endurance Pro is powered by a thermocompensated SuperQuartz™ movement, which is ten times more accurate than conventional quartz. The 44 mm model houses the Breitling Caliber 82, while the 38 mm version is equipped with the Caliber 83. Both are COSC-certified chronometers, ensuring exceptional precision.
The Endurance Pro draws inspiration from the Breitling Sprint, a performance chronograph introduced in the 1970s. With its lightweight resin case and heart-rate-monitoring pulsometer scale, the Sprint was designed for sports while retaining professional tool-watch status and vibrant colors.
Built for competition, the modern Endurance Pro is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters) and features a tactile rubberized crown for excellent grip. It can time intervals to 1/10th of a second, monitor an athlete’s pulse, and keep competitors on track with its solar compass. The watch combines these functions with a bold, colorful design.
Breitling’s Triathlon Squad, starring in the new Endurance Pro campaign, includes:
Jan Frodeno: The German Olympic gold medalist and three-time IRONMAN World Champion, known for pushing the limits and breaking world records in triathlon.
Daniela Ryf: A five-time IRONMAN World Champion and current long-distance triathlon world record holder, renowned for her relentless drive and achievements.
Lucy Charles-Barclay: The British triathlete who won the 2023 IRONMAN World Championship and is known for her tenacity and swim prowess.
Sam Laidlow: The French athlete who became the youngest male winner of the IRONMAN World Championship at just 24 years old, known for his impressive bike splits and fearless racing style.
The Breitling Endurance Pro is available in both 38 mm and 44 mm sizes, offering a perfect blend of performance and style for athletes and enthusiasts alike.
