This summer, Swatch is set to continue its tradition of supporting the Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad 2024, taking place from July 3-7 in the picturesque Alpine village of Gstaad, nestled in the Bernese Alps. As the title sponsor, Swatch will infuse the event with its distinctive blend of beach volleyball team spirit, high-energy sand court action, and an array of fun activities for all attendees.
The Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad stands as one of the world’s premier beach volleyball tournaments, attracting top athletes from the Elite 16 category to compete at an elevation of 1,100 meters above sea level. This prestigious event promises a thrilling showcase of talent, technique, and intense matches. Since 2003, Swatch has been a key partner of beach volleyball globally, serving as the title sponsor and official timekeeper for numerous world-class tournaments.
Highlighting the event are Swatch Proteam athletes Nina Brunner and Tanja Hüberli, who will be among the elite competitors on the sand. This marks the eighth appearance at the Gstaad competition for the Swiss superstars, making it a special homecoming for both athletes.
Adding to the event’s vibrant atmosphere, the Swatch Truck will be present, adorned in the lively colors of the newly launched Swatch NEON Collection. Spectators can explore the new collection and soak in the beach vibes off the court.
In celebration of this year’s event, Swatch has also unveiled a special edition watch. This unique timepiece features an all-black design with an orange and pink ‘sand ripple’ pattern on the strap and the motivational tagline “TIME IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT” on the dial.
