Giannis Antetokounmpo Launches Exclusive Breitling Collaboration in Athens
Athens, Greece – On June 28, basketball icon Giannis Antetokounmpo electrified his hometown with a street-party-themed cocktail event celebrating his latest collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Breitling: the Giannis Antetokounmpo Signature Chronomat watch.
Joined by Breitling CEO Georges Kern, the NBA superstar took center stage at the event, engaging in an informal chat amidst a vibrant atmosphere filled with local celebrities, brand enthusiasts, and members of the press. The evening, emceed by Greek star chef and Breitling ambassador Sotiris Kontizas, co-host of MasterChef Greece, pulsated with DJ performances and a street-party vibe. Attendees eagerly participated in basketball hoop challenges for a chance to win a signed basketball from the 6′9″ Milwaukee Bucks powerhouse. Notably, artist Same84 created a live mural of Antetokounmpo, adding to the event’s dynamic energy.

The Giannis Antetokounmpo Signature Chronomat collection features two editions: the 40-mm steel Chronomat GMT (limited to 1750 pieces) and the 42-mm gold Chronomat B01 Chronograph (limited to 250 pieces). Each watch is meticulously detailed with a “GA” monogram on the central hand counterpoint, a basketball emblem on the small-seconds subdial, and a dial shade matching the green of Antetokounmpo’s championship-winning NBA team. The Chronomat GMT includes a green rubber Rouleaux strap or an 18k red gold bracelet, combining sporty elegance with robust functionality. Antetokounmpo’s signature adorns the GMT caseback, and both watches are presented in special-edition packaging alongside a personal note from the “Greek Freak” himself.
For the occasion, Antetokounmpo showcased an exclusive “One of One” timepiece in gold, featuring the Bucks’ colors on the dial and golden Arabic numerals.
