FHH Partners with Swiss Centers to Expand Presence in China
The FHH Academy has announced a new partnership with Swiss Centers in China, marking a significant milestone in its 10th anniversary year.
Founded a decade ago, the FHH Academy has made substantial strides in horological education, shaping the future of watchmaking through its specialized training programs. Over the years, the Academy has successfully trained more than 35,000 individuals and certified over 12,000, leveraging the expertise of local trainers and distributors in 22 countries. This wide-reaching network has been crucial to the Academy’s success and global impact.
The partnership with Swiss Centers is particularly noteworthy. Swiss Centers, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Swiss businesses in Asia, has been instrumental in helping over 450 companies establish and grow their presence in China. Their services include support in operations, trade, marketing, and administration, making them a key player for Swiss enterprises entering the Chinese market.
Tristan Barrabas, Senior International Learning & Business Development Manager at FHH, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are delighted to see this distribution agreement come to fruition with the Swiss Centers. The values of the Swiss Centers align with those of the FHH, and we look forward to increasing FHH Academy’s presence and visibility in China with the help of this esteemed partner.”
Beatrice Qiu, Head of FHH Academy China at Swiss Centers Shanghai, highlighted the importance of the partnership: “When the FHH Academy was established ten years ago, China was already a significant focus. Today, it is crucial for the Academy to strengthen and expand its presence in China to better serve FHH member brands, B2B partners, and the growing local audience interested in watchmaking culture.”
In 2024, the FHH has been active in showcasing its core initiatives: Watches and Culture by FHH, the FHH Forum, and the FHH Academy. The Academy’s next roadshow is set to be one of the first major events under the new partnership, promising exciting developments for the Chinese market.
Zhen Xiao, CEO of Swiss Centers, also expressed optimism about the collaboration: “As the largest cluster of Swiss businesses in China, we are thrilled to welcome the FHH into our network. Watchmaking exemplifies Swiss culture and innovation, and we look forward to supporting the FHH Academy’s growth in China.”
