Speaking to guests, OMEGA President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann, said, “We began our legacy as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1932. So, in a way, the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games will feel like a homecoming for our brand. It has real sentimental value and, as you can see, we’re already looking forward to it. Casey, Alisha, Paul, Chase, and Jesse all have a great connection to that city, so we’re thrilled they could join us here to celebrate.”
Allyson Felix said, “Los Angeles is part of Olympic history. There’s the legacy of 1932 and 1984, and now in 2028, it will be the first one of my lifetime. I’m excited for it and I know the athletes will respond to the occasion. To compete in such an iconic host city in front of such passionate US sports fans is going to be a moment for every athlete to embrace.”
Chairperson of LA28, Casey Wasserman, spoke to guests about the upcoming plans for 2028, and said, “It’s very inspiring to be here in Paris and get a taste of the Olympic Games atmosphere. As you can imagine, being in the heart of the entertainment world, we know how to put on a big show in Los Angeles, so I can tell you that 2028 is going to be epic and one to remember.”

Now that I’ve been here in Paris, I can’t wait to go again in Los Angeles. It’s where I grew up and I know they’ll make it a breathtaking spectacle.”
Paul Wesley has raised his star status through notable roles in “The Vampire Diaries,” as well as “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.” The actor, producer, and director spoke to OMEGA on the night, saying, “There’s a beautiful energy in Paris right now and the Olympic Games are really bringing everyone together.
