Bonhams Announces Chabi Nouri as Global CEO
Bonhams proudly announces Chabi Nouri as the new Global CEO of the international auction house. Nouri, based at Bonhams’ headquarters on New Bond Street, London, will assume her role in October 2024.
Founded in 1793, Bonhams is one of the original Georgian London auction houses, owned by the UK-based private equity company Epiris. With 14 salerooms worldwide and sales in more than 60 collecting categories, Bonhams boasts one of the largest global networks. In 2022, Bonhams expanded its reach by acquiring four notable auction houses: Bukowskis in Stockholm, Bruun Rasmussen in Copenhagen, Skinner in Boston, and Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris, all now integrated into the Bonhams network.
Swiss-born Chabi Nouri brings extensive knowledge and experience from international luxury and retail organizations. She served as CEO of Richemont-owned watch and jewellery company Piaget for seven years before joining the Mirabaud Group in 2022 as a Private Equity Partner. Nouri began her illustrious career at Cartier, holding several positions over a decade after graduating from Fribourg University in Switzerland.
