Citizen proudly announces the release of the third limited edition model celebrating the 35th anniversary of the ‘Citizen Promaster.’ This new Eco-Drive ana-digi combination watch, featuring the latest Cal.U822, will be available starting October 10, 2024. The special edition watch is priced at ¥154,000 (excluding tax: ¥140,000) and is limited to 5,900 pieces worldwide.
Introduced in 1989, the ‘Citizen Promaster’ brand is designed for professionals in land, sea, and air activities. The 35th-anniversary model incorporates a newly developed analog and digital Eco-Drive combination, featuring a sleek black and monochrome design. Inspired by the jungle, the dial and bezel are accented with camouflage patterns, symbolizing vitality and strength in nature. This rugged design is perfect for outdoor and sports enthusiasts. The watch also comes with an interchangeable band featuring the same pattern.
The new model upgrades from traditional segment LCD to MIP (Memory In Pixel) LCD, enhancing the clarity and readability of time and date displays. This feature ensures better visibility even in outdoor settings. Additionally, the watch includes updated functions such as multiple area and day-specific alarms, and a light level indicator that visualizes power generation from Eco-Drive technology. This allows users to track up to a week’s worth of power generation history, ensuring worry-free usage without the need for frequent charging. The case back is engraved with the 35th-anniversary limited edition logo.
