K-Wave Night at Omega House Paris Features So-hee Han
On Thursday evening, Omega House Paris hosted a special event dedicated to Korean pop culture, known as K-Wave. The event featured actress and Omega global ambassador So-hee Han, who brought her distinct style and charm to the occasion.
Omega House serves as the Swiss watch brand’s exclusive venue during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Omega is the Official Timekeeper. The K-Wave event offered guests an opportunity to experience the vibrant world of Korean entertainment.
Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann spoke at the event, emphasizing the brand’s connection with Korea. “Omega has a strong connection with Korea, not only through our watches, but also through our Olympic and Paralympic timekeeping in Seoul and PyeongChang. We love the dynamism of the Korean culture, which is celebrated across Asia. With So-hee joining us in Paris, it felt like a great opportunity to do something really different and joyful at these Olympic Games,” he said.
So-hee Han, a prominent actress and model from South Korea, has gained recognition for her leading roles in TV series such as Nevertheless, My Name, and The World of the Married. She became an Omega ambassador in 2022 and has participated in several brand campaigns and international events since then.
During the event at Omega House Paris, So-hee Han expressed her appreciation for the brand’s creativity, saying, “Omega is always full of surprises, especially in the magic of their watchmaking, as well as their incredible ability to measure every event at the Olympic Games. The K-Wave event here tonight is another surprise. I love that the brand is honoring Korean culture in such an energetic way. It’s an experience I won’t forget.”
Omega House Paris is located at The Hôtel de Poulpry, Maison des Polytechniciens, near the Musée d’Orsay. It celebrates Omega’s role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. The venue offers daytime relaxation in elegant spaces and hosts VIP events and themed evenings at night, welcoming Omega’s celebrity friends. The site will remain open to members until Saturday, August 10th.
