Straum Launches Strap Adapters for Jan Mayen Watch, Announces Collaboration with ZULUDIVER
Straum has announced the release of the Straum Strap Adapters, designed to expand strap options for the Jan Mayen watch case. Starting today, customers can pre-order the adapters, which are priced at 99 EUR (excluding VAT). In addition, Straum is collaborating with ZULUDIVER to offer a custom-branded version of the popular OctoPod and a selection of ZULUDIVER straps.
The Straum Strap Adapters are a versatile accessory that allows the Jan Mayen case to accommodate a wide range of 20mm straps, including rubber, leather, and NATO options. This launch represents the first product in Straum’s broader accessory lineup, aimed at providing customers with more personalization options for their watches.
The adapters are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Jan Mayen case, ensuring a flush fit with the case’s side surfaces. The brushing direction of the adapters aligns with that of the watch case, and the adapters are engineered to allow NATO straps to exit horizontally, avoiding any added bulk. This attention to detail ensures a sleek aesthetic and a comfortable fit.
Priced at 99 EUR (excluding VAT), the Straum Strap Adapters are available for pre-order on the company’s website, with deliveries expected in November. Each adapter will be delivered in a dedicated box that fits within the existing Jan Mayen supplies box.
Technical details include a 20.1mm inner lug width, a 24.1mm outer lug width, and construction from 316L stainless steel. The finishing matches the Jan Mayen case, with bead-blasted, brushed, and polished surfaces.
In collaboration with ZULUDIVER, Straum will offer a custom-branded OctoPod and a range of ZULUDIVER straps through their webshop.
