Casio Launches Powerpuff Girls-Themed Watch to Celebrate Dual Anniversaries
Casio has unveiled a new addition to its BABY-G+PLUS line, commemorating both the BABY-G brand’s 30th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls. The BGD-10KPP, released in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, blends functionality with nostalgic design elements from the popular animated series.
The new Baby-G is based on the BGD-10K model, featuring a unique two-way design that allows it to be worn as either a wristwatch or a charm. The watch showcases a digital display with a square bezel, which can be removed from the wristband and placed into a special holder.
Design elements pay homage to The Powerpuff Girls, incorporating the show’s official logo, character portraits, and signature colors. The watch face is framed in pink, while the LCD display features the series’ distinctive heart symbol. Additional details include character artwork revealed when the pass-through band is removed and an engraved case back depicting the superheroes in action.
Functionality-wise, the BGD-10KPP-7 includes features such as:
