Fossil Group has named Franco Fogliato as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the Board of Directors, effective September 18, 2024. He succeeds Jeffrey Boyer, who had been serving as Interim CEO. Boyer will return to his previous role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and step down from the Board of Directors.

Franco Fogliato brings a wealth of experience from the consumer and lifestyle industries. Before joining Fossil, he served as President and CEO of Salomon, a prominent sports equipment manufacturer under Amer Sports Inc. During his tenure, Fogliato led a successful business transformation, streamlining operations and refreshing the brand’s identity, which resulted in significant revenue and profit growth.
Fogliato also held key positions at Columbia Sportswear Company, where he served as Executive Vice President of Global Omnichannel. Additionally, he was CEO Europe at Billabong Group, where he oversaw the Nixon watch and accessories brand, further adding to his watch industry credentials.
