With a mantra of “if it’s too perfect, fix it,” Bamford London and Ace Jewelers have crafted a timepiece designed to accompany wearers through life’s challenges. The B80 ‘Ace’ Edition pays homage to the rugged field watches of yesteryears, blending durability with sophistication.
The watch features a unique titanium case with a distinct patina, ensuring that wearers need not fret over the first scratch – it’s already there, courtesy of the makers. Alon Ben Joseph’s admiration for traditional field watches inspired the inclusion of a true military layout, complete with Arabic hour markers from 1 to 12 and 13 to 24. George, the creative force behind Bamford London, further elevates the design with a striking “ghost dial” boasting a mesmerizing smoky color gradient.
The timepiece is presented with a signature 20mm Cordura strap, reminiscent of military-style utility, and comes with a special vial containing essentials to maintain its pristine appearance – though it’s advised not to use them on the watch itself.
Adding a personal touch, the case of each B80 ‘Ace’ Edition is adorned with a special engraved design that reads “You’re Ace,” conceived during a brainstorming session at The Hive in Mayfair.
