In December 2022, the Classima Collection introduced a special edition with a “British” style, featuring fabric from gentleman’s suits adorning the straps. Three new timepieces in this capsule edition feature diagonally-lined patterns, exquisite colors, and fabric straps, embodying the timeless elegance Baume & Mercier has maintained since 1830.

Self-winding Classima capsule edition, GMT (M0A10734)
One of the highlights is the self-winding Classima capsule edition GMT (M0A10734). Its polished stainless steel case, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 8.80 mm in thickness, houses a scratch-proof domed sapphire crystal. The dial features harmoniously displayed hours, minutes, seconds, and a 24-hour GMT, all highlighted with contrasting colors and sizes. The self-winding movement ensures a 42-hour power reserve, operating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vph), and is water-resistant up to 3 ATM (approximately 30 m).
Completing the ensemble is an interchangeable blue Holland & Sherry Super 120 wool strap with colored saddle stitching, secured with a stainless steel pin buckle. The strap can be effortlessly changed without tools, thanks to a reliable spring bar system. Additionally, a second interchangeable black alligator strap with a stainless steel pin buckle is included, offering versatility without the need for tools.

The watch is affixed to an interchangeable strap in brown Holland & Sherry Super 120 wool, featuring colored saddle stitching and a stainless steel pin buckle. This highly artistic timepiece brilliantly showcases Baume & Mercier’s complete mastery of both style and technical craftsmanship. It features a hand-wound skeleton movement that elegantly reveals small seconds at 6 o’clock on a captivating blue sapphire dial with a black flange. Rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and indexes, along with leaf hands for hours, minutes, and small seconds, adorn the dial, while the minute track is presented in white.
Encased in polished stainless steel, the round case boasts a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 8.95 mm. It is safeguarded by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which, like the case back, offers the option for personalized engraving.
Driven by a movement with a 46-hour power reserve and oscillating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vph), the watch demonstrates impressive precision. With water resistance up to 5 ATM (approximately 50 m), this timepiece seamlessly combines aesthetics with functionality.
