Bremont Supermarine S302

Adventurers and explorers have always played an integral role in field-testing Bremont watches, relying on them as vital components of their equipment. This serves as a testament to the durability and dependability of Bremont timepieces. Notably, the Bremont Supermarine has been extensively worn in some of the most unforgiving environments on our planet, whether above or below the ocean’s surface. The introduction of the new S302 marks a fresh generation in Bremont’s iconic Supermarine Collection while preserving the fundamental characteristics that have made this collection well-recognized.

The latest S302 models have received a rejuvenation with new color options, refined features, and enhanced readability. These 40mm stainless steel dive watches feature automatic GMT movements with a 50-hour power reserve, a novel 24-hour unidirectional rotating bezel, and a date display at 3 o’clock, along with a water resistance of up to 300 meters.

A distinctive bi-color blue and green aluminum unidirectional rotating bezel makes its debut, providing a visual representation of day and night transitions, complete with new numerals. The S302 Jet edition boasts a black DLC case, complemented by a black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel and a sandblasted black dial in the classic Bremont ‘Jet’ design. Both models are accented with vibrant orange details, from the GMT hand outline to key markers on the inner bezel, and even the ‘Supermarine’ wordmark on the dial. To ensure optimal visibility, Super-LumiNova® has been applied to both models, featuring blue emission indexes and hands, while the GMT hand is accented with a contrasting green emission lume.

For the first time, an integrated rubber strap has been introduced to the S300 line, designed for a superb fit on the wrist. These ergonomic rubber straps come in colors that harmonize with each new watch design. Alternatively, a classic brown vintage leather strap or stainless-steel bracelet is available, allowing the new S302 to adapt to any occasion or adventure.

Bremont’s evolution has been driven by the company’s new CEO and industry veteran, Davide Cerrato, since his appointment in May. He has a clear vision for the company’s future, solidifying Bremont’s position as a leader in tool watches and establishing a firm foothold in the world of exploration and adventure, which aligns with the brand’s strengths and heritage. Davide has introduced specific design enhancements in this initial phase, drawing inspiration from traditional dive design principles. As he comments:

“Diving watches are the strongest representation of the tool watch category. The design elements of a dive watch are highly codified and we have interpreted them all in this first step of design refresh of the Supermarine product while playing with interesting colours for a refreshed and revitalised approach.”
