Today, Casio Computer Co., Ltd. unveiled its latest addition to the G-SHOCK series – the GMA-P2100 shock-resistant watches. These three compact timepieces bring a burst of monochromatic colors to the renowned 2100 line, celebrated for its iconic octagonal bezel.
In recent years, Casio has been on a mission to create a more diverse collection of compact, unisex G-SHOCK models by downsizing their popular watches. The GMA-P2100 watches retain the signature octagonal bezel and minimalist face design that define the 2100 line but introduce vibrant colors and a smaller shock-resistant profile for enhanced comfort.
Notably, the new watches boast a 2.7 mm reduction in case width, making them 94% the size of conventional GMA-S2100 models. Additionally, the band length has been shortened by approximately 10 mm, catering to those with smaller wrists. The color options include vibrant turquoise blue, bright pink, and a stylish white monochrome palette. Employing both light and dark shades of the same color for various components such as the dial, index marks, and hands, Casio achieves a streamlined face that is not only visually appealing with depth and dimension but also easy to read.
To further its commitment to environmental sustainability, Casio has crafted the bezel and band using bio-based resin. This eco-friendly material aligns with the company’s efforts to reduce environmental impact.
Looking ahead, Casio is dedicated to expanding its range of gender-neutral G-SHOCK timepieces, ensuring that they remain easily wearable for an ever-diversifying community of G-SHOCK enthusiasts.
