The new DS Action Diver Chrono is a robust mechanical wristwatch, built to withstand underwater explorations with a water resistance of up to 30 bar (300 meters). Adhering to the stringent ISO 6425 standards, this watch is not only a diver’s essential but also a stylish accessory on land, featuring a sand-colored dial and striped strap that evoke a maritime charm.
Certina has long been synonymous with diving, a passion the Swiss watchmaker has embraced for years. The DS Action Diver Chrono embodies this passion, excelling both underwater and above. Designed as a reliable precision instrument, it helps divers monitor their diving time accurately. Key features include a screw-down crown with crown protection, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, and a generous Super-LumiNova® coating on the hands and indices. This combination, along with its impressive water resistance, ensures the watch meets the ISO 6425:2018 standards for diver’s watches.
But this watch isn’t just for the depths of the ocean. Its aesthetic appeal makes it equally striking on the promenade. The matte sand-colored dial contrasts elegantly with the black ceramic bezel and gold-colored hands, presenting a modern yet timeless look. The striped textile strap, made from sustainable #tide ocean material®, complements the watch’s colors perfectly and ensures a secure fit. The strap can also be easily replaced without tools, thanks to the quick-change system.
Housed within the 44.5 mm stainless steel case is the modern mechanical caliber A05.231 with automatic winding. Its silicon balance spring resists magnetic fields, enhancing the watch’s reliability. Like all Certina watches, the DS Action Diver Chrono features the Double Security (DS) concept. In addition to the sand-colored version with a striped strap, the model is also available with a classic steel bracelet, offered in either black or blue dials paired with a matching ceramic bezel.
