The watch’s central hour, minute, and second hands showcase the local time at home, while a slim hand with a luminous arrowhead points to the bezel’s 24-hour scale, indicating the time at the traveler’s destination. Adventurous voyagers can also check the time and date in an additional time zone. The DS Action GMT model is powered by the advanced Powermatic 80 automatic movement, boasting an impressive 80-hour power reserve. This ensures that, whether deep in the urban jungle or relaxing by the sea, day or night, the time is always accurate.
With a urbane and contemporary design, the DS Action GMT Powermatic 80 is tailored for today’s global travelers. The black dial features Super-LumiNova® luminous highlights on the hour markers, 12 o’clock triangle, and hour, minute, and 24-hour hands. The 41-mm stainless steel case is robust, with a screw-down and protected crown, a screw-in case back with a sapphire crystal insert, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the bi-directional turning bezel. This bezel includes a 24-hour scale in white against a colored background.
For added convenience, the hour, minute, and second hands display the time of day/night in the traveler’s home time zone, while a slim green pointer with a luminous white arrowhead indicates the time at the destination. The watch allows the adventurous voyager to check an additional destination’s time by using the bi-directional bezel to indicate the hours’ difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT offset).
