Citizen Watch Q&Q SmileSolar Unveils Third Collaboration with Tabisuru Kissa: A Tribute to “Beautiful Moments”
Citizen Watch subsidiary Q&Q SmileSolar is set to release the third installment of its collaboration with the popular café, “Tabisuru Kissa,” or Travelling Cafe. This new collection, inspired by the concept of “beautiful moments,” will be available from August 5th at the official Q&Q SmileSolar online store and select nationwide watch specialty stores, including “On Time” and “Move.” Pre-orders will begin on July 26th at noon through the official Q&Q SmileSolar online store.
This latest collaboration with Tsunekawa, known for creating unique cream sodas while traveling, features two emotionally evocative designs: “Yuhaku” and “Ruisho.” “Yuhaku” captures the soft, warm hues of the sky at sunset, while “Ruisho” represents the deep, mystical blue of a starry night. These watches aim to encapsulate the fleeting beauty of these twilight moments.
The 36mm unisex case size makes these watches suitable for a broad audience. Powered by solar energy, these watches eliminate the need for regular battery changes and offer 10-bar water resistance, ensuring durability and convenience.
Tsunekawa’s Reflection on the Collaboration
Tsunekawa, the creative force behind the traveling café, expressed his vision for the new watch designs: “The time when the sun sets in the western sky, painting the sky in soft hues, followed by the appearance of the moon in the eastern sky, blending into the deep blue, creates an emotional, dream-like time.
