In 2024, amid global economic and geopolitical challenges, CODE41 introduced UNIFY, a watch collection with a timeless design embodying ideals of tolerance, equality, and diversity. Offered as collaborative limited editions, UNIFY amplifies the voices of artists and personalities from diverse backgrounds, transcending barriers of gender, age, and origin to unite people around shared fundamental values.
Sharoz by CODE41: 88 Limited-Edition Pieces Advocating for Equality
For its inaugural collaboration under the UNIFY project, CODE41 partnered with Sharoz Makarechi, an Iranian-American creative entrepreneur, artist, and activist. Fleeing Iran’s Islamic Revolution as a child, Makarechi now champions inclusivity through cultural events, award-winning filmmaking, and personal advocacy. The first limited edition of UNIFY features a powerful illustration from her Substance project, symbolizing unity and the defense of human rights.

For CODE41 and its founder, Claudio D’Amore, it’s crucial to inspire and act. Thus, a portion of sales from each collaboration is donated to a humanitarian project chosen by the artist. In this case, proceeds support the Equal Justice Initiative, a cause close to Makarechi’s heart, which fights for human rights and fair justice.

With a 38mm diameter suitable for all wrists and a variety of colors, UNIFY celebrates diversity in every form. The collection transcends traditional barriers to create a timepiece that is both inclusive and expressive of its wearer’s values.
Equity Flag and Permanent Collection
In addition to the special editions, the UNIFY collection includes three permanent models, one of which is the inspiring Equity Flag variant. Initiated by Sharoz Makarechi, the Equity Flag features a spectrum of skin tones, symbolizing unity and inclusivity—core values of the UNIFY collection.
Strong Design with Subtle Details
Beneath its timeless appearance and integrated strap, UNIFY’s details are meticulously crafted. The small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, forming the peace symbol once per minute, subtly references the collection’s values.
