Eberhard & Co. Scientigraf Chrono

Introducing a new addition to the Eberhard & Co. collection – the Scientigraf Chrono. This timepiece is a chronograph variant of the renowned anti-magnetic Scientigraf model that was first introduced in 1961. The technical and aesthetic qualities of this classic model have been elevated by the incorporation of two additional counters.

Similar to its “time only” counterpart, the chronograph version features a “Faraday cage” nestled within the case. This cage is constructed from soft iron and serves to absorb electromagnetic waves emitted by the prevalent electronic devices in our daily lives. As a result, it safeguards the movement of the watch, ensuring that its precision remains unaltered.

From a visual perspective, the Scientigraf Chrono retains its vintage charm. The black dial showcases the two counters, adorned with an elegant azuré finish, and the distinctive triangular element, which is also evident in various details such as the hour markers (available in ivory or orange) and the tips of the hour and counter hands.

The 41mm steel case housing the Faraday cage alternates between polished and satin-brushed finishes. The screw-locked case-back proudly bears the original design from the 1961 model, complete with a logo and inscriptions that commemorate the anti-magnetic tests conducted at the dedicated facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds during that era.

The Scientigraf Chrono is presented with a steel Chassis® bracelet equipped with a 2CLICK® double push-button clasp, personalized with the brand’s iconic shield emblem.
