Furlan Marri x Auro Montanari x Revolution Flyback Chronograph

In a much-anticipated collaboration, the renowned Wei Koh is delighted to introduce the latest marvel—the Furlan Marri x Auro Montanari x Revolution Flyback Chronograph Trilogy. This exclusive collection comprises three distinct models, including a specially crafted edition for Revolution featuring a captivating two-toned salmon dial adorned with “Tasti Tondi” stainless steel pushers.

Limited to only 270 pieces per reference, each accompanied by a collector box housing all three references, the Furlan Marri x Auro Montanari x Revolution Flyback Chronograph is set to redefine the standards of contemporary watchmaking.

The Journey of Rising Stars

For the past three years, Furlan Marri has captured the hearts of watch enthusiasts worldwide. The brainchild of Andrea Furlan and Hamad Al Marri, the brand’s meteoric rise during the pandemic culminated in winning the prestigious Horological Revelation Award at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). Wei Koh, intrigued by the brand’s Japanese “mechaquartz” powered chronographs, wondered about the possibility of applying Furlan Marri’s retro-modern design flair to a fully Swiss-made mechanical chronograph.

Today, Wei Koh reveals not just one but three exquisite timepieces. This trilogy, shaped under the guidance of the esteemed Auro Montanari, stands as a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Ushering in a New Era of Design

The Furlan Marri Flyback Chronographs showcase a unique case shape, meticulously designed for this project. With a polished, concave bezel and elegantly sweeping compound curve lugs, the watches exhibit a dynamic tension reminiscent of master car designers like Pininfarina.

Montanari’s influence is evident in the introduction of olive-shaped chronograph pushers, a nod to the styles popular in the 1930s. The Revolution exclusive two-tone salmon dial watch, featuring Tasti Tondi pushers, adds a distinctive touch to the collection.

Diverse dials characterize each watch—a two-tone salmon and black dial for the Revolution edition, a stunning blue dial with gold-colored text, and a discreetly elegant taupe dial version. The collaboration places a strong emphasis on quality improvement, from case to dial, pushers, and hands, resulting in a superior three-dimensional aesthetic.

Swiss-Made Mechanical Excellence

At the heart of these timepieces lies a Sellita manual wind, column wheel-activated flyback chronograph movement—the caliber AMT5100. Collaborating with Sellita, Andrea Furlan ensured the development of a new manual wind chronograph movement that met the classic size criteria. The finishing, featuring a rose gold-plated finish and a blued column wheel, underscores the brand’s dedication to quality.

A Glimpse into the Future

The trilogy of mechanical chronographs marks a pivotal moment in Furlan Marri’s journey, signaling its ambition for a bright future. Wei Koh draws attention to the brand’s forward-looking initiatives, exemplified by a pièce unique timepiece created in collaboration with Julien Tixier and Dominique Renaud for Only Watch 2023—a secular perpetual calendar showcasing the brand’s determination to make a lasting impact in the watch industry.
