H. Moser & Cie. Unveils Limited-Edition Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon Timepiece

Renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker, H. Moser & Cie., introduces a captivating timepiece that marries vintage allure with modern minimalism – the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon. This distinctive model, showcased on an extraordinary Smoked Salmon dial, promises a style and experience available exclusively for one (leap) year.

Breaking away from convention, the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon features a pared-down design, free from mundane sub-dials, indexes, or logos. The watch’s simplicity belies its ingenious nature, emphasizing only the essential elements. The Smoked Salmon color, a classic in Haute Horology, undergoes a contemporary twist, creating a visually striking contrast for the perfect balance. This special edition watch will be on offer for a limited period of 12 months.

In a nod to its heritage, H. Moser & Cie. draws inspiration from its 2005 Perpetual 1 model and integrates a revolutionary instantaneous date-change movement into the Streamliner collection. The hand-wound HMC 812 movement powers this masterpiece of simplicity and ingenuity. The central hand in red and white indicates the months, eliminating the need for traditional indexes and logos, allowing the full beauty of the Smoked Salmon dial to take center stage.

The dial, displaying an exquisite vintage touch, undergoes a mesmerizing play of light, transitioning from black to a captivating mirror effect. A griffé finish, reserved for special editions, further enhances the aesthetic appeal of the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon.

To ensure readability, three-dimensional hands made from two sections, featuring Globolight® inserts, display hours and minutes. The power reserve of 168 hours is visibly showcased at 10 o’clock, and a date window at 4 o’clock employs a unique “Flash Calendar” instantaneous date-change mechanism.

The leap year indicator, in pursuit of minimalism, finds its place on the movement side, visible through the sapphire case-back. The HMC 812 calibre boasts an ultra-contemporary finish with Moser’s signature double horizontal stripes and anthracite grey PVD coating.

True to its name, the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar embraces the rounded curves reminiscent of high-speed trains from the Twenties and Thirties. The 42.3 mm steel cushion case is water-resistant to 12 ATM. The sculptural design extends to the integrated steel bracelet, ensuring a harmonious fit on any wrist.

H. Moser & Cie. once again demonstrates its commitment to innovation and timeless elegance with the limited-edition Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon, offering enthusiasts a unique blend of heritage and contemporary sophistication.
