Hublot Celebrates Grand Opening of First Boutique in Lisbon
Lisbon, May 10, 2024 – Hublot has officially opened its first boutique in Portugal, located in the prestigious El Corte Inglés in Lisbon. The grand opening event, held yesterday evening, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, General Manager for the Mediterranean countries Augusto Capitanucci, and Friends of the Brand, including football legends Luís Figo and Roberto Martínez.
To celebrate this milestone, a cocktail party was hosted at the historic Palacete Virtus, a 19th-century building in the heart of Lisbon. The event was graced by Hublot’s esteemed clients and friends, including notable personalities such as Luís Figo, Roberto Martínez, Spanish actor Miguel Bernardeau, and other prominent figures from Portuguese society.
Guests at the party were immersed in the Hublot universe, enjoying live music from singer Gigi McFarlane and DJ Joana Hasse, who provided a vibrant and exclusive atmosphere with their performances.

The new Hublot boutique, located on the ground floor of El Corte Inglés, spans nearly 50m² and offers watch enthusiasts the opportunity to explore Hublot’s unique blend of materials and ideas, known as The Art of Fusion. The boutique features timepieces crafted from exclusive materials and showcases collections such as Classic Fusion, Big Bang, Shaped, and Manufacture Pieces.
From the outside, a distinctive chandelier marks the boutique’s presence, while the interior combines mirrors and glass with luxurious materials like Alcantara fabrics, ebony wood, and polished metal. As with all Hublot boutiques worldwide, the space pays homage to the art world, displaying large Pop Art paintings inspired by iconic Hublot timepieces.
