The HASTROID Silver Red exemplifies the contemporary essence of the collection with its sleek design. This exclusive edition, limited to just 15 pieces, boasts flawless curves and exquisite satin finishes, combining remarkable lightness with cutting-edge innovation.
Measuring 48 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug distance of 52.3 mm and a thickness of 13.3 mm, the Hastroid’s case has previously been meticulously crafted from advanced noble materials, including titanium, titanium and carbon, and a unique alloy of stabilized bronze and carbon. These choices bridge the past with the future, evoking memories of ages past while embracing aspirations for the future.
The HASTROID Silver Red’s electrifying design establishes its own aesthetic codes, emphasizing its modern and forward-looking character. The case, constructed from titanium and black DLC titanium, features a distinctive finish that imparts a satin and sandblasted effect.
The redesigned dial, focused on enhancing readability, showcases a prominent central hand coated in vivid red with sharp contours, ensuring instant readability of the minutes. Two sub-counters, resembling cockpit instruments, provide essential supplementary information, with small seconds on the left and a power reserve indicator on the right.
The same meticulous attention to aesthetics and legibility extends to the retrograde time indication, where the unique luminescence of the red liquid guarantees clear visibility of the hours, both day and night. To enhance contrast and clarity, a capillary dial topped with white Super-LumiNova® is positioned beneath the fluidic light, while the hour markers around the chapter ring are crafted from blocks of Super-LumiNova®. Water-resistant to 30 meters, the HASTROID Silver Red also incorporates a central titanium container to safeguard the movement, showcasing the depth of engineering behind this groundbreaking timepiece.
The openworked dial back and mainplate subtly unveil the components of the hand-wound mechanical movement. Designed by Eric Coudray specifically for the HASTROID collection, the caliber’s distinctive aesthetics are further enhanced through modern finishes, including elegant satin brushing and bead-blasting, adding a subtle sophistication to these treatments.
