Luminox has introduced the Bear Grylls 3730 Mountain series, featuring four new watches, including a limited edition model. This launch builds on their ongoing partnership with the renowned survivalist and brand ambassador, Edward Michael “Bear” Grylls, drawing inspiration from his remarkable 1998 Mount Everest expedition.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Bear Grylls’ historic ascent to the summit of Mount Everest. In celebration of their brand ambassador, Luminox has unveiled the new 3730 Mountain series. These timepieces pay homage to one of Grylls’ earliest and most significant accomplishments, achieved at the age of just 23, a mere 18 months after a parachuting accident left him with a broken back. This incredible feat, making him the youngest Briton to reach the summit, serves as the driving force behind the latest collaboration between Luminox and Bear Grylls.
The collection debuts with integrated straps that seamlessly connect to the case, available in black, green, and the exclusive blue limited edition. Bearing Bear Grylls’ motto, “Never Give Up,” the inner ring is inscribed to inspire your adventurous spirit. Enhancing the design, the dial’s numbers feature a distinctive outline, creating a subtle yet impactful raised effect, setting this timepiece apart. Designed with explorers in mind, the bezel is marked with cardinal directions.
Three of the models sport the signature Bear orange crown, and the mountain series is offered in a 43mm case with a central black dial, with the option of outer rings in Orange, Green, or Sand. Bear Grylls’ signature graces the case back of these three models, serving as a constant source of motivation.
The limited-edition version stands out with its striking white dial, deep blue strap, and a red crown matching the colors of the Nepalese flag. The case back is adorned with a raised depiction of Mount Everest, and the outer ring bears the marking “8848M,” signifying the altitude of Mt. Everest. Luminox will release 800 pieces of the Bear Grylls Limited Edition Mountain Timepiece worldwide.
But there’s more to the Bear Grylls’ limited edition watch. It includes a removable bull bar designed to provide additional protection for the crystal, ideal for rugged adventurers. This limited-edition piece will come with the bull bar pre-installed and will also be available for separate purchase as an accessory for any other watch in the collection.
The Bear Grylls Mountain 3730 Series is engineered to withstand the rigors of ascending Earth’s highest peak or diving to depths of up to 200 meters below sea level.
