Taking joy in unveiling their latest offering, the Ming 37.07 Monolith, serves as a subtle counterpart to the previous year’s 37.07 Mosaic.
Ming has always enjoyed showcasing watches with a more utilitarian appeal, characterized by scratch-resistant DLC coatings, a distinctive brushed-blasted case, and restrained dials. Originating with the 17.06 Monolith, this thematic approach extends seamlessly to the 37.07 Monolith.
The brushed-blasted and DLC-coated case gives the impression of being more substantial (and sleeker) than its specified 38×10.9mm dimensions, and the mosaic pattern is subtly subdued through the application of dark grey Super-LumiNova. Powered by the Sellita SW210-1 in their distinctive configuration of skeletonized and anthracite-coated bridges, the top bridge presents a contrasting rhodium hue.
Completing the ensemble is a new strap, courtesy of Jean Rousseau Paris, crafted from perforated textured calf material that harmonizes with the mosaic while maintaining an aura of subtlety and restraint. For comprehensive details and additional images, kindly refer here.
