Celebrities brave the ice on Omega’s bob run

Celebrities converge in St. Moritz for OMEGA’s 2024 Celebrity Bob Run

Stars aligned in St. Moritz as OMEGA hosted the 2024 edition of its celebrity Bob Run, offering Swiss precision and exhilaration on the icy tracks. The brand’s esteemed guests, including model and brand ambassador Kaia Gerber, DJ and producer Diplo, actress-entrepreneur Shay Mitchell, social media sensation Noah Beck, supermodel-entrepreneur-investor Ashley Graham, actor Gavin Casalegno of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” fame, Latin urban music artist Arcángel, music artist Jess Glynne, and actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., formed bob teams to navigate the thrilling twists and turns of the fast-paced winter sport.

The runs were meticulously measured with split-second precision by OMEGA’s team of Official Timekeepers, stationed at St. Moritz for the IBSF World Bobsleigh & Skeleton Championships. President and CEO of OMEGA, Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann, expressed his delight at witnessing the star-studded guests embrace their inner winter athletes: “You need a genuine sense of adventure to take the bob run, and they embraced every second. We love being able to offer this experience to friends in this incredible region of our home country. It’s the perfect way for a proudly Swiss brand to say welcome to our world.”

Kaia Gerber, an OMEGA brand ambassador, echoed the sentiment, describing her first-time experience in St. Moritz as incredible. She shared her enthusiasm for getting a true sense of competing in a bob team, relishing the rush of speed on the Olympia Run, and creating unforgettable memories with the OMEGA family and new acquaintances.

As the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games and the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, OMEGA has a rich history of recording top-level bob team speeds at various Winter Olympic Games and IBSF World Cup events. Despite the gentler pace for OMEGA’s celebrity guests, the venue at Olympia St. Moritz, renowned as the oldest bob run in the world and the only one naturally refrigerated, provided a world-class setting. The prestigious run had previously served as the bob venue for the 1928 and 1948 Olympic Games, adding historical significance to this thrilling OMEGA event.
