Patek Philippe Aquanaut & Nautilus Haute Joaillerie

Patek Philippe enriches its collections of elegantly sporty watches for women with an Aquanaut
Luce minute repeater and new Nautilus jewelry models.

The manufacturer is introducing the inaugural minute repeater embodying the “modern casual chic” style of the Aquanaut collection. This debut takes place on the Aquanaut Luce ladies’ model, showcased in two Haute Joaillerie versions crafted in rose gold and adorned with a spectrum of multicolored sapphires and diamonds arranged in the exquisite “invisible setting.”

Simultaneously, the Nautilus Haute Joaillerie line welcomes three novel models featuring the “snow” setting, combining diamonds with either blue sapphires, rubies, or emeralds. To complete this autumnal bouquet, two new Ladies’ Nautilus models in rose gold with a purple decor have been introduced.

Patek Philippe left an indelible mark on the realm of “elegant sports” timepieces with the iconic Nautilus (1976) and Aquanaut (1997). These groundbreaking models gave rise to refined feminine adaptations: the Aquanaut Luce (2004) and the Ladies’ Nautilus (relaunched in 2009). Both have since seen various iterations, including Haute Joaillerie models adorned with an array of gem settings. Since 2021, these feminine lines have flourished, with the Aquanaut Luce introducing its first three complicated models and the Ladies’ Nautilus appearing in new versions using the “snow-setting” technique. This momentum continues with the introduction of seven new references, seamlessly combining elegant sports style with grand complications and Haute Joaillerie refinements.

The Aquanaut Luce “Rainbow” Minute Repeater Haute Joaillerie, presented in two versions (References 5260/355R-001 and 5260/1455R-001), marks the introduction of the first Aquanaut minute repeaters. Lit by a spectrum of diamonds and multicolored sapphires, these watches feature the “invisible setting.” Following the success of previous Aquanaut Luce models, these incorporate the original shape of the octagonal bezel, emphasizing it with a double row of baguette-cut gems set in the refined “invisible setting” technique.

The dial complements this arrangement with baguette diamonds in an “invisible setting,” a brilliant-cut diamond “snow setting” on the hour circle, and multicolored sapphire hour markers. The caliber R 27 self-winding movement’s architecture is visible through a sapphire-crystal case back. These watches are complemented by three ultra-resistant composite straps and a patented fold-over clasp in rose gold adorned with baguette-cut diamonds. The Reference 5260/1455R-001 is exclusively available in Patek Philippe Salons in Geneva, Paris, and London during the introductory phase.

The Nautilus Haute Joaillerie References 7118/1451G-001, 7118/1452G-001, and 7118/1453G-001 introduce three new “snow-set” watches combining diamonds with blue sapphires, rubies, or emeralds. The dazzling snow-setting technique, combining stones of different diameters to minimize visible gold surfaces, adorns the case, bezel, and bracelet. The white-gold dial, featuring brilliant-cut diamonds set in the pattern of small waves, ensures legibility with ogival-shaped hour markers in white gold set with colored stones.

The white-gold case houses the caliber 26-330 S self-winding movement, and the bracelet is secured by a patented Patek Philippe fold-over clasp. These models join the existing “snow-set” diamond references.

Lastly, the Ladies’ Nautilus References 7010R-013 and 7010/1R-013 present two new “elegant sports” models with gemset bezels and a purple dial. The purple lacquered dial, requiring multiple layers of translucent and colorless lacquer, features the signature wave pattern of the Ladies’ Nautilus collection. Legibility is ensured with rose gold markers and hands, while the case catches the eye with alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes. The bezel sparkles with brilliant-cut diamonds.

Reference 7010R-013 comes with a matching composite material strap, while Reference 7010/1R-013 features a rose-gold bracelet with contrasting finishes. Both models are equipped with the caliber E 23-250 S C quartz movement and are secured with a patented Patek Philippe fold-over clasp. These new references replace the quartz models in the existing lineup, offering a variety of options for enthusiasts of elegant sports style.
