Ressence introduces the TYPE 1 DX3 in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, a limited edition that melds the intricate patterns of Arabic mosaics with the artistry of cloisonné watchmaking. Marking the culmination of a six-year partnership between the luxury retail group and the independent watchmaker, this timepiece seamlessly continues the narrative from the first two creations, offering a distinctive interpretation of Arab art.
The TYPE 1 models act as a unifying theme throughout this trilogy, with each watch showcasing a dial adorned with a graphic pattern inspired by Arab Geometric Art. Moreover, a rose gold color palette infuses these limited pieces with the warm tones of the desert.

Illuminated Mosaic Composition
The DX3’s dial colors are logically arranged, unfolding gradually with darker shades emanating from the central sub-dials. This creates visual complexity that enhances the watch’s sense of rhythm. In low-light conditions, the cloisonné design on the dial comes to life as the watch emits a gentle green glow, filled with grade A Super-LumiNova®. This luminescent paint also graces the numerals, a signature feature across all Ressence timepieces.

Built on the foundation of the T1° Round, the latest iteration of the TYPE 1, featuring the new pebble-looking case, the DX3 boasts a sleek design that results in a remarkably smooth watch with a satisfying tactile quality, awakening the senses.
Chronicled Craftsmanship
This final launch is accompanied by Ressence’s inaugural book, “Arts & Crafts in Motion,” limited to 200 copies. The publication delves into the genesis, craftsmanship, and fusion of Arab Geometric Art and Horological Decorative Art within the unique DX trilogy.
