Serica 6190 Field Chronometer: self winding, thinner, certified

Going for the summit.

Ever since Serica was founded, the company has consistently taken steps towards its ideal of creating unique mechanical instruments that combine refinement and sophistication with robustness and reliability. From the very first watch, Serica has come a long way in developing what they believe a mechanical wristwatch should offer in modern times.

As the company continues to strive for continuous improvement in the performance, reliability, and distinctive aesthetics of their watches, they take great pride today in introducing the original Serica Field Watch to the highest of their standards. The new Reference 6190 represents a significant milestone, featuring a completely redesigned case that is even more sophisticated and slimmer, powered by the Chronometer-certified automatic caliber M100. This achievement marks the final step in the puzzle to make all Serica watches certified automatic chronometers.

However, this achievement is just the beginning for Serica. As true explorers, they always have new summits in mind for their future endeavors.

SELF-WINDING CHRONOMETER.

The Ref. 6190 now features the slimmer and self-winding SoProd M100 caliber, attaining the esteemed status of an Officially Certified Chronometer, aligning with the distinguished pedigree of all other Serica® timepieces.

EXCEPTIONALLY SLIM YET FORMIDABLE.

Remarkably thinner and exuding sophistication, the Reference 6190 boasts newly designed twisted lugs and a completely reimagined case profile, measuring a mere 10.40mm in thickness. Despite its sleek profile, it retains the exceptional 20atm water-resistance that has been instrumental in establishing the reputation and success of the Serica Field Watch.

NEW DIAL VARIATIONS & AN EMBOSSED CLASP

The Ref. 6190 introduces striking updates to our enameled Commando and California dials, featuring fully luminescent indexes for the first time. Additionally, it unveils the innovative Denali dial, named in honor of the successful Expedition led by mountaineer Nicolás Diaz Bayona in June 2022.

The Bonklip bracelet now incorporates an embossed clasp, discreetly showcasing the elevated and polished Serica mountain and lake logo.
