In this joint venture, Timex merges its renowned Acadia Ocean watch with Raised by Wolves’ contemporary menswear aesthetic. According to RBW’s Creative Director, Cal Green, the choice of the Acadia Ocean watch was a natural fit due to its timeless design and durable construction, aligning perfectly with RBW’s ethos.
The Timex x Raised by Wolves timepiece features a rugged 40mm case and matching two-piece fabric strap, both in RBW’s signature jet black hue. Notably, the watch incorporates #tide™ ocean material, a sustainable innovation developed in collaboration with #tide™. This material, sourced from upcycled ocean-bound plastic collected from coastlines, underscores RBW’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Inspired by swim lap timers, the watch’s hands sport primary colors—red, yellow, and blue—alongside a fourth greenish hue illuminated by the INDIGLO® backlight. This design not only emphasizes the watch’s water-resistant properties but also celebrates its use of ocean-friendly materials.
