Vacheron Constantin enhances its Overseas collection with a new tourbillon model that seamlessly blends technical prowess and opulence. This sporty-chic timepiece, boasting a 42.5 mm diameter, introduces a novel combination of white gold with a captivating blue dial. Notably, the bezel and hour-markers stand out with their exquisite adornment of baguette-cut diamonds.
The watch’s slender curvature is achieved through the integration of an ultra-thin self-winding movement, the in-house Calibre 2160 featuring a tourbillon. Offering versatility, the watch comes with three interchangeable bracelet/straps. The first, a white gold bracelet with a folding clasp, is seamlessly integrated into the case. Additionally, there are two alternative straps in blue calfskin and rubber, each secured by an interchangeable white gold pin buckle embellished with baguette-cut diamonds.
Baguette-cut diamonds make their debut in the Overseas collection with this tourbillon model. Vacheron Constantin selected white gold for the first time, complementing its sophisticated nature. The luminous gleam of the metal is accentuated by the iconic satin-brushed blue dial. The bezel, featuring 60 diamonds and extending onto the hour-markers, introduces a captivating color contrast. The baguette-cut diamonds, a departure from other Overseas models, contribute to the watch’s highly structured silhouette.
The Overseas tourbillon watch is a testament to Vacheron Constantin’s commitment to understated, creative aesthetics coupled with technical mastery. The ultra-thin Calibre 2160, measuring only 5.65 mm thick, enables the watch’s sleek profile. The peripheral rotor made of 22K gold ensures an 80-hour power reserve, enhancing thinness and providing a clear view of the movement from the back.
The ultra-thin Calibre 2160 steals the spotlight with its mesmerizing ballet, showcasing the regulator’s slender architecture. The movement, adorned with circular-grained mainplate, Côtes de Genève on bridges, and hand-beveled elements, epitomizes technical and precious High Watchmaking. Operating at a frequency of 2.5 Hz, the movement displays hours and minutes, along with small seconds on the tourbillon carriage.
Water-resistant up to 50 meters with a screw-down crown, the Overseas tourbillon high jewellery watch offers a unique feature—a tool-free interchangeable bracelet/strap system. This allows the watch to effortlessly transform its appearance, adapting to various occasions. The supplied white gold bracelet can be swapped with a sporty blue rubber strap or a more classic calfskin leather strap in the same hue. Both alternative straps feature an interchangeable white gold pin buckle adorned with 16 baguette-cut diamonds.
