Yema Yachtingraf Croisière

The Yachtingraf Croisière: A Vintage-Inspired Regatta Chronograph

Specially designed for sailing regattas, the Yachtingraf Croisière stands out with its asymmetrical sub-registers in bright colors, echoing the legendary 1960s chronograph of the same name. This modern interpretation features a refined 38.5mm steel case with twisted lyre lugs and is powered by Seiko’s VK63 tricompax caliber.

Historic “Big-Eye” Regatta Chronograph

Drawing on vintage design elements, the Yachtingraf Croisière is distinguished by its “big-eye” oversized sub-register. This unique feature, which is rare among chronographs, emphasizes the minutes counter, enhancing the watch’s functionality and aesthetic. Designed specifically for regattas, it acts as a countdown timer to the start of a race, helping helmsmen achieve optimal positioning.

Eye-Catching Dial Design

The dial of the Yachtingraf Croisière is a vibrant mix of bright colors and YEMA’s neo-vintage style. It features a matte primary surface with raised steel facetted markers and polished hour and minute hands. The dial’s edge displays a minute/chronograph seconds track in a contrasting color. The sub-dials are particularly striking: the oversized minutes regatta countdown at nine o’clock, the sweep seconds hand at six, and the 24-hour counter at three, designed as an inverted Swiss-cross.

Thin & Stylish Case with Lyre Lugs

The 38.5mm case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, is both thin (10.3mm) and stylish. The absence of an external bezel allows for a large dial opening, ensuring excellent readability. The chrono pushers integrate seamlessly into the case, while the twisted lyre lugs, a design by the renowned Genta, offer a blend of polished and brushed finishes that add texture and character to the watch.

Iconic Caseback

The case-back features YEMA’s historic coat of arms, stamped with a hydraulic press, and finished with polished and brushed detailing.

Mechanical-Quartz Caliber

Seiko’s VK63 hybrid movement powers the Yachtingraf Croisière. The time functions are driven by a quartz caliber, while the chronograph is controlled by a mechanical module, resulting in a smooth sweeping second-hand movement.

Bracelet and Straps

The Yachtingraf comes with a flexible and refined Milanese mesh steel bracelet, engraved with YEMA’s historic logo for easy adjustment. Alternatively, a specially designed grained leather strap, made in France, is available in matching colors.

Super-LumiNova BGW9

The hands are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensuring perfect readability in low light conditions.

Made for Summer, Made for Style

The Yachtingraf Croisière is designed as a fun, everyday summer watch. Its colorful dial and matching strap make it a standout accessory for holidays or weekends by the pool.
