Klaus creates a soundtrack for Zenith inspired by sounds recorded at the manufacture

Artist, creator, storyteller and ZENITH friend of the brand Klaus has released a new soundtrack for ZENITH, incorporating sounds recorded during his visit to the ZENITH Manufacture in Le Locle.

Klaus, an Italian multimedia artist and storyteller with a global following, engages in a range of creative pursuits, from electronic music production and DJing to sharing his captivating adventures, emotions, and encounters through his popular YouTube channel. He consistently weaves his narratives in the most unexpected and sensory-evoking ways, always aiming to take his audience on unique journeys. Inspired by the intriguing sights and sounds he encountered at the ZENITH Manufacture, Klaus embarked on a special musical expedition, recording various audio tracks on-site to craft an exclusive musical soundtrack tailored specifically for ZENITH.

Before unveiling this remarkable creative endeavor, Klaus invited guests in Milan to an exclusive experience. This included a moment to exchange cocktails with Klaus, a sneak peek at the pre-release soundtrack, and a hands-on ZENITH Watch Clinic experience. During this clinic, guests had the opportunity to step into the shoes of a watchmaker and discover the meticulous application of luminescent pigments to the revamped Pilot collection.

Earlier this year, ZENITH introduced its new Pilot collection, which has since become Klaus’ preferred timepiece. This latest addition to the extensive line of ZENITH Pilot watches departs from the vintage aesthetics and draws inspiration from the entire spectrum of aviation history, from the past to the present. The Pilot Big Date Flyback, made of sleek black ceramic, boasts a utilitarian appearance while incorporating two essential functions into the El Primero 5Hz automatic chronograph calibre: the big date and the flyback feature. For a creative globetrotter like Klaus, it’s a fitting and stylish choice.

On the soundtrack created, Klaus shared “I’ve been in Le Locle for the first time in March this year and what impressed me the most was the heritage preserved by Charles Vermot thanks to the hidden attic. The initial idea to create a soundtrack of our visit, but once there, I had so many ideas of how to translate what I was seeing into music. The soundtrack “Le Locle” is the representation of my feelings when I reached the manufacture in Le Locle: a peaceful and quiet space, wondrously distorted just by subtle industrial machines.”

The debut track from Klaus’ new project dubbed simply “Le Locle” will be released on SpotifyApple Music and other streaming platforms globally on Friday October 20.

Additional tracks produced by Klaus for ZENITH will be unveiled in the coming months.
