Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton in White Ceramic

Zenith has ushered in the summer season with the launch of the first-ever Defy Skyline model in white ceramic, featuring a blue skeleton movement and dial, making it an ideal watch for the warmer months.

A modern take on the original Zenith Defy wristwatch from 1969, the Defy Skyline blends historical design with contemporary aesthetics. This new edition, the Defy Skyline Skeleton, introduces a pristine white ceramic exterior for the first time in the collection, combined with the symmetrical, open movement and dial. The case and dodecagonal bezel, crafted from highly scratch-resistant white ceramic, feature alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, providing a striking look suitable for any occasion. With a water resistance of 10 ATM (100 meters), the Defy Skyline Skeleton in White Ceramic is equipped to handle all summertime activities.

The watch’s intense blue open dial and skeleton movement perfectly complement the white ceramic exterior. The dial, which shifts hues with the light, forms the iconic Zenith four-pointed star from 1969, a motif central to the Defy range. Beneath the dial, the open El Primero 3620 SK movement is finished in Zenith’s signature blue tone, reminiscent of the night sky. Instead of a traditional seconds dial, the Defy Skyline boasts the world’s first and only constant 1/10th of a second running indicator, completing one rotation every 10 seconds, subtly reminding wearers to cherish each moment.

Designed for versatility, the Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic comes with an integrated white ceramic bracelet that follows the contours and mixed finishes of the case. A patterned white rubber strap matching the ceramic is also included, utilizing the case’s quick strap-change mechanism that requires no tools.

Powered by the El Primero 3620 SK automatic high-frequency skeleton caliber, the watch features a 1/10th of a second indicator driven directly by the 5Hz escapement. It offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and includes a stop-second mechanism for precise time-setting.

The Defy Skyline Skeleton in White Ceramic is available in limited quantities from all Zenith physical and online boutiques, as well as authorized retailers worldwide.
