Zenith Releases Defy Skyline Pink Edition to Support Breast Cancer Research

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Zenith has introduced the Defy Skyline Pink Edition, a limited-edition timepiece created in partnership with Susan G. Komen. The release continues Zenith’s commitment to the global fight against breast cancer, with a portion of the sales directly benefiting the organization. Limited to 100 pieces, this 41mm watch features a symbolic pink dial, with 20% of proceeds going to support Susan G. Komen’s efforts to advance research and patient care.

Defy Skyline Pink Edition: A Symbol of Hope

The Defy Skyline Pink Edition represents a first for the Defy collection, featuring a pink dial with a sunburst satin finish. The 41mm unisex timepiece combines Zenith’s renowned horological precision with a design that stands as a symbol of solidarity and optimism for those affected by breast cancer. The dial’s engraved geometric motif, inspired by past Defy models, adds depth and texture, while the rhodium-plated hands and hour markers, coated with SuperLuminova, ensure legibility even in low light.

This special edition retains the signature Defy Skyline elements, such as the 1/10th of a second subdial at 9 o’clock and the date window at 3 o’clock. Powered by the El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency caliber, the watch operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz) and offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. The constant 1/10th of a second indicator underscores the Defy Skyline’s precision and serves as a reminder of how every second matters.

Versatility Meets Innovation

The Defy Skyline Pink Edition is designed with versatility in mind. It comes with an interchangeable strap system, allowing wearers to easily switch between a stainless steel bracelet and a white rubber strap with a starry sky pattern, without the need for tools. The stainless steel case is water-resistant to 10 ATM, ensuring durability alongside its elegant design.

Commitment to the Cause

Zenith’s partnership with Susan G. Komen is part of the brand’s broader HORIZ-ON corporate social responsibility initiative. This initiative focuses on supporting women’s empowerment and access to healthcare. Since the beginning of this partnership in 2022, Zenith has contributed over $700,000 to Susan G. Komen, helping to advance critical research and patient care services. The Defy Skyline Pink Edition continues this collaboration, with 20% of sales being donated to the cause, reinforcing the brand’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact.
